Blaine Neufeld is the Pastor of Ministry Development at Bayside Church’s Granite Bay campus and co-host of the Change the Odds podcast. Passionate about leadership development and helping people grow in their faith, Blaine serves alongside his wife, Adrienne, to invest in leaders and build thriving communities.

Kevin A. Thompson is a husband, father, and Married Life Pastor at Bayside Church in the Greater Sacramento Region. The author of multiple books, including, Friends, Partners & Lovers and Fearless Families. Kevin is passionate about seeing families thrive. Originally from Arkansas, Kevin has been a frequent guest on Focus on the Family, Family Life, and featured in the New York Times. He writes at kevinathompson.com and changetheodds.com. He and his wife, Jenny, along with their two children reside in Auburn, CA.

Andrew Stanley is a stand-up comedian known for his clever, clean humor and relatable storytelling. A former youth pastor turned full-time comic, he performs nationwide and has been featured on platforms like Dry Bar Comedy. Andrew’s comedy blends sharp observations about everyday life, faith, and relationships with an easygoing, conversational style.

Chloe Gall is a worship leader, truth-teller, and mom of four who inspires women to embrace their season, grow in faith, and believe that God has more for them than they think.

Dr. Barbara Wilson is an author, Doctor of clinical psychology and the founder of Freedom Bound Communications, an organization that brings healing and hope to those with a sexual past. She speaks internationally to youth and adults with her message of sexual bonding and healing. Released from a past of her own, Barbara combines neuroscience and psychology, with her own story of healing to explain what sexual bonding is and how to move freely into your future in her books, The Invisible Bond: How to Break Free From Your Sexual Past and Kiss Me Again; Restoring Lost Intimacy In Marriage. Barbara has a group study called Free, Finding Healing and Freedom from your Past, available in women’s, men’s and young women versions, that is being used locally and nationally to walk men and women through an empirically-based, trauma-focused approach for healing from past abuse, sexual trauma and destructive relationships. Barbara and her husband have been married over 30 years.

Dr. Caine has worked in education as a high school counselor for 14 years in both public and Christian school settings in Atlanta, Georgia. During her time in education, Dr. Caine served in various leadership roles including Department head, Director of Diversity, and College Counseling. Dr. Caine previously taught in the Master’s in Counseling program at Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, Dr. Caine is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. Dr. Caine has led several trainings to school faculty and multiple conferences in the areas of equity and diversity, parenting skills, suicide prevention, relationships, and bullying prevention.

Janelle McGuckin is a registered nurse, wife, mother, and California girl through and through. When a cancer diagnosis meant trading her nursing scrubs for a patient gown, a remarkable journey of true healing began. Now she's pouring her care for others onto the pages of her debut book and inviting all who thirst to draw near to the One who calls each of us by name.

After feeling the call to ministry in his home town, Atlanta, Georgia, Jason embraced the lifelong call to ministry at 20 years old. He and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for nine years and are parents to twins, Joelle and Jason. He has a vision for the future and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo to make things better and has a vision to see the Church on Earth reflect the unity and diversity that will be in heaven. Jason is passionate about embracing technology and seeing the church adapt and improve its reach on people.

Jenny Thompson is the wife of Pastor Kevin Thompson and mom to Ella and Silas. A veteran marketer, she’s worked in trade shows, agencies, and has run her own ad agency for over 12 years.

Jim Burns is president of HomeWord and executive director of the HomeWord Center for Youth and Family at Azusa Pacific University. He has more than 1.5 million resources in print and a radio broadcast heard on 800 stations a day. Jim resides in Southern California with his wife Cathy and their three daughters.

Jim Sheppard is CEO & Principal of Generis, a consulting firm passionate about helping churches inspire and cultivate generosity through giving development, coaching, and strategy. After college, Jim passed the CPA exam and pursued a career as a financial executive. Though he grew up in the church, Jim was not a believer until he was 28. That part of his life intersected with his business life in 1991 when he thought he might be called to the pastorate. This came at a time when he was at a very high level in a major financial services company. After an intense spiritual period in his life, Jim realized that was not where God was calling him. Seven months later through a corporate buyout and a series of providentially inspired events, Jim moved from the corporate world to giving development for churches and ministry organizations. Jim is a student of generosity and is passionate about spreading it throughout the Church. For the last 27+ years, he has devoted his life to coaching pastors especially in navigating the resource limitations that restrict their ministry potential. Jim understands the financial challenges that churches face today; annual giving, debt, capital projects, and planned giving. He is a positive force in bridging these needs with the power of spiritually motivated stewardship. Cumulatively, Jim has partnered with his clients to raise over $1.7 billion for local church ministry. Jim is a frequent writer and speaker on generosity and ministry funding. He is co-author of Contagious Generosity: Creating A Culture Of Giving In Your Church. Jim and his wife, Nancy, live in the Atlanta, GA area and they have two married daughters. He is actively involved in his church where he serves as an elder and provides guidance to the Generosity Ministry Team.

Mark Clark (B.Th., M.Th.) is one of the Senior Pastors at Bayside Church, a multi-site church with locations across California. He was the founding pastor of Village Church a multi-site church with locations across Canada. He is the author of The Problem of Life (2025), The Problem of Jesus (2021) and The Problem of God (2018), Winner of the 2018 Word Award for Writing and Evangelism, and Paul and the Gospel of God (2013). He is married to Erin and has three daughters and resides in Granite Bay, California.

Dr. Paul Friesen is a speaker, author, and marriage and family therapist with more than 40 years of ministry experience. He co-founded Home Improvement Ministries with his wife, Virginia, to equip couples, families, and churches to build healthy, Christ-centered relationships.

Silas Thompson is Kevin Thompson’s son and a member of the facilities team at Bayside Church’s Granite Bay campus.

Taylor Gall is a worship leader and singer-songwriter passionate about leading people into God’s presence, living with integrity, and raising his four boys alongside his wife, Chloe.

Dr. Virginia Friesen is a speaker, author, and marriage and family therapist passionate about strengthening marriages and families. She co-founded Home Improvement Ministries with her husband, Paul, helping people live out God’s design for healthy relationships with wisdom and grace.
